a Transcend H3 drive should do the job. it’s a military-grade antishock PHD.
Disaster! Catastrophe! Apocalypse! I have lost everything! Last night I moved my laptop and forgot to unplug my PHD and it fell hard to the ground. I picked it up and heard rattling. I took it to Best Buy and they said it'd have to be sent to their lab. It'd cost minimum $250 up to $2000 to retrieve the data! All 2.5 TBs of my Anime, Doujin & Manga's (Both adult and Non) are now inaccessible. I spent almost 10 years collecting all that. I have no clue what to do now other than buying me a new PHD (wireless this time). Any suggestions y'all?
I'd vouch for western digital 3 TB drives, either caviar green or (five year warranty ftw, but check out it's recent models, older ones have had bad rep with high number of failures) red.
And, for fuck's sake, have TWO disks for your important data. A main disk, and a backup disk on which you'll frequently synchronize your data.
You can, rather than portable hard drives, buy a dock, and place your "normal" hard disks inside. It's cheaper that way, and, heck, you can even find docks with locations for two hard disks, this way it's easy for you to synchronize data between main and backup.

I have a 3TB black WD for a while now. The downside is it enters stand-by and I can't do anything about it.
Thank you everyone for your suggestions! As it happens I have, or had I guess, a 3TB black WD. I was actually going to by me the new 4TB WD wireless version come March 1st. But it seems when you make a plan like that Murphy's law comes into effect in the worse way. Well there is a glimmer of hope I was recommended a website called Thumbtack. Basically a Angie's list. And been research on the people sending me offers for Data recovery. Can't trust just anyone to do this right. Well thx and if y'all don't mind I'll let you know how it turns out.

I'll agree with Zathael that something with this chapter felt odd, but not for the same reasons. There were "pace breakers" that felt weird. Like the change from bathroom sex to cosplay play in bed, and the sudden "oh look you're a daddy" while the boy still wears the same day clothes. Makes me wonder if we're not sharing part of the girl's imagination.

what about the special chapter?
This story, and especially this chapter, is really rather odd. Although a good portion of the story is lovey-dovey happy sex, there is just enough yandere-ish moments to make part of me want to tell the main character to "RUN! RUN WHILE YOU STILL CAN!!!"
