We haven’t done anything full color in a while, so here you are. Though I have to admit, since it’s Naruto, I just couldn’t bring myself to like it. One way or another, I hope you will enjoy it.

I never watched/read Naruto, so my only knowledge of it is from hentai manga, but it seems like Naruto is always made out to be kinda stupid and/or clueless. Is that how he is in the manga and anime?
As for this release, the story is kinda meh, but I really liked how the artist drew Sakura with normal sized breasts. It seems like hentai artists always want to draw her with big cow tits. Not that there is anything wrong with big ones, but smaller, normal sized ones can be just as attractive.
Thanks a lot biribiri and Darkside123.
Well, naruto is as mainstream as you can get. From little I know, it's all ages story, so obviously nothing sexual in it. Not to mention it makes me cringe every time I see females wearing those "ninja" footwear with bare fingers, so unsexy. It being mainstream means there's *a lot* of cases artists with average or lower skill when it comes to art or story-telling use it as a mean to artificially gain popularity (because fans of the original will totally buy it) >_> That's why I generally have low expectations of doujins themed naruto or one piece and from my experience, I'm mostly right.
to answer your question, the way the character is in the manga, he appears to be stupid, but at times does things kinda smart. so you end up with this sense that he will grow out of it and get smarter. the creator on the other hand went the opposite route, he just kinda seems to get dumber towards the end which is a real pity(but maybe its better if its read all at once, havnt re read it in years).
my first exposure to the anime… i wrote it off as dumb… it wasnt until some time later when i saw a music video someone did with a song i liked and used a naruto fight scene and it made the anime look cool, so i gave it a shot. the english version is *horrible*, the japanese version is much better. however, later int he series the anime takes liberties with the script and there was a ton of filler. this, compared to the manga really ruined it for me. after reading the manga it makes me wonder how i ever stomached the animated series.
The only thing i can really say about the series is "read the first few chapters" if you hate the first chapter then you likely wont like the manga. if you like it then read through to the…. battle on the bridge, youll know for sure by the end of the fight whether you like the manga or not. i think the journey the character takes through the story was well worth the read. At least it isnt all fanservice like some other shows.
one other thing, some characters do die in the series. so thats kind of nice. i hate plot armor…
Same as you my only experience with this series is thru doujin. But Sakura and that one ninja girl with the weird Toph-like eyes are hot enough to get my attention. Plus hey it's full color and has anal always a win in my book.
Many thanx BB and Darkside123.
