hmmm, I am curious, I have an old copy of ch’s 1-8, and the cover for what I have as ch 1 is different from what the cover of Byakko_no_Mori_Sono_2
the cover of the ch 1 that I have shows a small white foxgirl wearing a white kimono like garment standing next to a tree with her hand on the tree, and the story starts off showing the male MC actually fishing

Because I picked it up starting at the 2nd chapter – the 1st one was done by desu. Just as the name and the title suggest, Byakko_no_Mori_Sono_2 is the 2nd book.
