Wow quite the response =) What I was trying to get at was simply that while you could look at it in a "happy ending" sort of way, more than likely people who get into this sort of situation for such feeble reasons and are so weak willed aren't likely to be able to straighten out for long (won't take much to push them back). Not that it's not possible that things could end up all nice and tidy, just that it doesn't really add up to such a nice ending in the back of my head. Of course, as you said, you can imagine it turning out any way. To me this is just fap material with a premise that is gratingly at odds with how I see reality, not really saying anything colored by feelings about any moral or ethical aspects.

But D&PS series show what's going on later on from the story shown in YOUR DOG, in this and next chapter is really good shown how their relationship evolves – if you read YD, you should remember that Maki was having an ill conscience about what he was doing, and in final eps he decided to stop doing these things(whole D&PS series tells about different moments of YD). I can say that D&PS#5 will be final ending of Maki's story – I doubt there may be something more that could've been said about the plot. Well, you could say that Ayumu is not totally pure and innocent, but who is? The only relatively innocent in this story would be Haruki, but she didn't say anything about what Maki was doing to these girls either.
Maki isn't totally bad person – he may has made wrong choices, but it's not like he's raping little girls – in the same way he could've pay adult women for having these record sessions (but you can't say that he's a good guy either – and he was invited to his first sex with that girls, by a friend – in D&PS#3).
This story is made to bring different emotions up, you can interpret it in different ways deppending on who you are. Looking at whole story, I can say that Asami wrote really colorful storyline. The more emotions it brings, the better! There is probably no way to persuade one interpretation or another, and that's what's the best about it. In this story there is no division for black and white – it's all different shades of grey, just like in real life.
Though I have to say that I needed D&PS to fully apreciate this story.
Ugh – I wrote quite a lot and probably made quite a mess, but meh – that's my opinion on YD and D&PS.

I dunno she may not be a prostitute per se, but I can't help thinking of her as a dumb slut (not that this gets in the way of her purpose=). Maybe this lends an air of innocence and lack of self awareness making her seem vulnerable, but overridingly she comes off as stupid (at the very least having extremely poor judgment) given who she "falls" for. I'm pretty sure she'd be a whore being pimped out by him later in life if you guess what their future would be like.

She's not a prostitute, it's damn hard to call her prostitute since she had her first time with Maki and she had sex only with him. Also, as it was said in one of the last chapters of YOUR DOG – she didn't use any of his money. She's also an outcast, so it would be hard for her to be a prostitute imho. It's more like she was looking for escape from her problems and after her first time with Maki – where he takes her for dinner and waits for her, takes care of her, is really dearly and nice to her, she, who didn't experienced love or friendship, falls for him (I really don't know how else could I explain the story briefly).
Unless you're talking about the other girl – yeah, she makes sex cause she wants money (the one from the furr coat).
At least that's my interpretation.
I don't get what's happening in this series. Is that little girl just a child prostitute who's falling in love with that Maki guy?

That was sweet. The tail thing was really cute. And that is no longer your laptop, it is the cat's laptop. They will just let you use it from time to time when they don't feel like laying on it. 🙂
Thanks for another release. Asami Sekiya's stuff is excessively cute. And since I haven't done it yet, thanks for finishing up 'Your Dog'. It was pretty good. And lol, the cat is owning your laptop.
