Now that I've read the Charissa arc all in one sitting, I noticed that Konno-san is called Senno-san in the last page of chapter 4…

When they told Charissa that they were going to take her to child services (or whatever it is in Japan), she could have convinced the officers to let her live with the guy.

Yeah, they probably don't even keep records of who the customers are. I think the police just wanted to tell him what had happened, maybe ask him to move so he wouldn't be accused of being a part of it or something like that.
